Nesties Basket and Pysanky

This is a darling easy little basket made with rectangle Nestabilities. The idea came from the very talented Lauren Meader from My Time, My Creations, My Stampendence in her Feb. 08 blog. Four rectangles cut from SU Sweet Always paper and a large square on the bottom. I used the scalloped punch in Regal Rose and the image is from Bella Blossoms and I used a few dots of Distressed Stickles. I also smudged all the edges with Regal Rose to add a little definition. I filled the basket with a few of the Pysanky that I make each year. If you are not familiar with the Polish eggs, I do them on empty eggshells using a wax batik method. They are time consuming so I only do a few each year. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Try the little basket...it goes together very easily!

Those eggs are gorgeous! I tried my hand at that a few years ago... not very easy, but I did enjoy it.
