Butterfly Business!

Can you believe that this was a humble $1 book from the dollar bins at Michaels. Our Michaels has the butterfly shape, a star, and a posy or scalloped circle shape. I bought a bunch and I'm going back for more. What great gifts and they can be done for so many occasions. I'd love to do a Halloween one, a Christmas one, a friend theme, a bird theme, a garden one.....the list is endless and this is a great project for our times when everyone is watching pennies. I used my stamps here and there but the chipboard letters were what was left from another time and I raided my button box for vintage mother of pearl buttons. I made myself use what I had and didn't buy anything new. This was so much fun to do and I hope you get some ideas. I have to say I was inspired by the blog Mrs. J.'s Creations. She made a lovely heart shaped album dedicated to her Mom and it's exquisite. Try one. I think you'll have a great time! Enjoy!
