This is the first stamp I have ever owned from Serendipity Stamps and I am in love. I love the little image and the sentiment. The old fahioned dresses are just the sweetest thing. I could see this stamped on cream on a textured cream background and no color. Just very elegant, just like old fashioned vintage dresses would be. It was stamped on watercolor paper and colored direct from the ink pads with blender pens. It's mounted on a piece of Cottage Wall DP and then on Whisper White. If the sentiment looks too close to the edge, it is. I was trying to punch a Martha Stewart eyelet lace border and found out that MS punches won't go through watercolor paper and it ruined the edge. I had just enough space to use the SU scalloped punch. Better than starting over right? Ribbon is white grosgrain. I used my white pen here and there to give the hint of buttons and lace. Please give Serendipity a look (they're not paying me to say this, I just think their stamps are wonderful). I'm sure you'll find something you just have to have. Hope you're having a nice relaxing Sunday!

How lovely! I really love this stamp.
These dresses are darling! LOve the colors you choose and all the little details!
I have this stamp and I love it, too. I stamped the dresses on patterned paper and cut them out and mounted them. I love your cream card-it is the sweetest! Just proves that sometimes the simple way is the best way! Thanks Mary.
