Halloween Pennant Banner

Started on this yesterday and worked all day today on it. Using the SU Pennant Die and lots of halloween papers I made this pennant banner. The picture of it hanging is not great but I hope the up close shots of each panel give you a better look at it. I tried to do a different theme or technique on each panel. I used so many things but I'll try and give you some tips. The first panel is a paper doll put together with brads. I used a template I bought years ago that had three sizes of templates on it and then a vintage image from Dover for the face and pumpkin. The next panel is a distressed tag with Tim Holtz new halloween stamps. Then I used various CB folders to emboss paper and cut leaves from CB dies and inked them. The third panel is just scalloped circles from the pennant die and the SU punch with stamps embossed in detail black as well as distress embossing powders. I used lots of jewels for eyes, etc on this one. Next is Boo cut from the Sizzix Roundabout alpha, a CB die cut and embossing folder and a paper flower. The fifth panel is an old vintage image. I cut out the moon man's face and popped it up on dimensionals for a little interest. Next is a Tim Holtz grungeboard skull painted with Peeled Paint distress paint (very fine crackling), added rhinestone eyes, and a little SU distressed embossed image below and finally, another vintage image done on a tag that my daughter gave me some years ago. I have several and decided to part with one to use on this special project. I also used lots of stickles on the scalloped edges of each pennant and elsewhere. This was sooooooo much fun to do! I hope you enjoy it and get some ideas and that you'll try one for yourself. This die is expensive but you can use it for any holiday or season.
